OOLG: APC CHAIRMANSHIP CANDIDATE, OGUNSOLA LAUDS GOV. ABIODUN ON THE PAYMENT OF N77,000 NMW IN OGUN STATE.



The All Progressive Congress (APC) Chairmanship Candidate, Obafemi Owode Local Government, Amb. Adesina 'Lanre Ogunsola, FCPA,  has laud the State Governor, His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON for the recent approval of N77,000 National Minimum Wage to all the cadres and levels in Ogun State Public Service.

Amb. Ogunsola described the payments as a clear understanding of the need to elevate the standard of the workers with the intention of appreciating the contributions of the workforce in the development of the state, as the welfare of workers of Ogun State Civil Service could not be underscored while the pronouncement of the approval is timely and go along way in the life of every worker with effective payment from October,2024.

He further appreciated the Nigeria Labour Congress(NLC), Ogun State Chapter for supporting and believing in the leadership of Governor Abiodun Led Administration who has promised before now that ones His Excellency, President Bola Tinubu assented to the National Minimum Wage bill, he will not delay any further its implementation in his state.

He also used the medium to appreciates the Federal Government through the State Government for selling a subsidized 50kg Rice at the rate of N40,000 to cushion the supply of food stuffs to the household in every local government area of the state.

"I want to specially thank our Governor, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON for setting a record in the approval of N77,000 National Minimum Wage, which since remain the highest payment in the approval with effect from this month, October without further delay in the payment across levels and cadres of the public service in our dear state",said Ogunsola.

He therefore assured all the residents of Obafemi Owode Local Government of his continuous dedication to welfare of his people, as he is seeking re-election as the Chairmanship Candidate of the APC in the coming Local Government Election on November 16th this year,as he is a promise and fulfilled politician.
