ANLG STEALS THE SHOW AT THE 2024 OGUN LOCAL GOVERNMENT SERVICE WEEK/AWARD NIGHT, EMERGES AS BEST LG, AS HOLGA, AUDITOR CLINCH AWARDS

Abeokuta North Local Government, Akomoje has been adjudged as the Best Local Government of the Year while the Head of the Local Government Administration in the Local Government, Alhaji Junaid Wasiu Babatunde FCA emerged as the "Best Administrator of the Year" and another staff of the Council Area Alhaja Faleye Zainab who's the Internal Auditor won the best Internal Audit Compliance Personnel of the Year's category in the just concluded Ogun State Local Government Service Week/Award Night organised by the Ogun Local Government Service Commission, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta. 

The award night which was held at DLK Event Centre off NNPC, Leme Abeokuta on Thursday 3rd, October 2024 had in attendance the State Governor, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun CON who was ably represented by his Deputy, Her Excellency, Engr.Noimot Salako Oyedele. He appreciated the remarkable leadership style and unwavering commitment of the Commission's Chairman, Ms Olivia Olubukunola Onabanjo and her team towards delivering quality services not only in the 20 Local Governments but in Ogun State by extension.

Speaking on the outstanding recognition, the First Lady of Ogun State, Her Excellency, Mrs. Bamidele Abiodun who presented the award on behalf of the commission to Alhaji Junaid explained that the achievement reflected the relentless efforts in the pursuits of professional growth of the Local Government made him an Outstanding Administrator in Ogun State Local Government Service urging him not to rest on the oars..

Alhaji Junaid while speaking on behalf of all other awardees, thanked Almighty Allah, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun CON, the Leadership of Ogun Local Government Service Commission for the recognition given to them and Abeokuta North Local Government under his watch while promising not to take it for granted as this will spur them to do more in a bid to repositioning Local Government service to a point of reference in the Public Service which is the dream of the present Commission.

The event was well attended by the Deputy Governor, Her Excellency, Engr. Noimot Salako Oyedele who represented Mr. Governor, the First Lady in the State, Her Excellency, Mrs Bamidele Abiodun, Member of the National Assembly of Nigeria,  Hon.Joseph Adegbesan, Speaker of Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Olusegun Daisi Elemide, Head of Service, Mr. Kehinde Olufemi Onasanya, members of the State Executive Council, members of the Legislative Council, the host, Ms Olivia Olubukunola Onabanjo, full time Commissioners, Directors at the Commission, NULGE National President, Comrade Akeem Ambali, and that of the State President, Comrade Adefesobi Adebayo (Oluomo), Traditional Rulers, retired and serving Permanent Secretaries,Top Government Fuctionaries, Captain of lndustries, Heads of Local Government Administration, and members of staff across the 20 Local Governments amongst many others.
