Founder of Dapo Abiodun Likeminds, Hon. Nurudeen Aka Adewale, has dismissed the recent election of new executives as a "kangaroo election" orchestrated by disgruntled former members.
In a statement issued and made available to journalists in Abeokuta, Aka said the individuals behind the purported election have long ceased to be members of the group and lack the legitimacy to make decisions on its behalf.
Our correspondent gathered that Hon. Aka is the authentic Chairman of the group.
Hon. Aka who expressed his disappointment and shock in a report, stated that the allegations against him are unfounded and aimed at tarnishing his reputation.
According to the statement "The new executives lack credibility and legitimacy, but I need to react to their kangaroo election"
"It is appalling that some individuals who have benefited from my leadership and support would turn against me in this manner."
"The allegations against me are baseless and only serve to discredit my excellent work."
