Yoruba Afenifere  Youth  Condemns Proposed Protest, Warns Agitators

The Yoruba Afenifere Youth OrganizationofNigeria (YAYON) has condemned the proposed protest on August 1st, which the body described as politically sponsored and aimed at destabilizing the country.

In a release issued by the Apex President and Publicity Secretary, Comr. Eric Oluwole and Saheed Adeola (Mrpossible) revealed the yoruba youths are not part of this protest and reject it in its entirety.

According to the press release  "Unlike the previous administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, where we engaged in constructive dialogue and advocacy, this protest appears to be driven by ulterior motives.

"We urge all Yoruba youths to reject this protest and not participate in any activity that may compromise their safety and the stability of our nation."

"We also call on youth leaders and groups from other ethnic nationalities in Nigeria to remain calm and not be swayed by this politically motivated protest."

"We believe in the power of dialogue and engagement, and we will continue to work towards constructive solutions to the challenges facing our country."

"We warn the agitators behind this protest to desist from their actions, which may have far-reaching consequences for our nation. We will continue to work towards peace, stability, and progress for all Nigerians."

The YAYON as an umbrella body of Yoruba youth groups, we appealed to our youths in Yoruba land both Kogi and Kwara that no one should participate in the protest.

We will not tolerate anybody  that want to jeopardize the effort of Mr President, we should give him time towards the new Nigeria"
