SEASON OF PROJECTS COMMISSIONING : DIGNITARIES POUR ENCOMIUMS ON HON.ADESINA, CHAIRMAN EWEKORO LOCAL GOVERNMENT OVER EXECUTION OF IMPACTFUL PROJECTS

...Hon Adesina Sikiru Adisa declares that Ewekoro Local Government is among the best Local Government in Ogun State and Nigeria at large in terms of provision of people-oriented , developmental and capital projects for the benefit of the people of the LG

It was encomium galore as dignitaries across  board gathered at Obada-Oko, venue of the official commissioning of the star project, Oba Michael Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo Shopping Complex.

Speaking at the event, the highly elated, Oba (Dr.) Micheal Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, Okunkenu IV , the Alake of Egbaland, through Oba Abdul Fatai Akorede Akamo, the Olu of Itori, lauded Hon.Adesina Sikiru Adisa for the monumental achievements, transforming Ewekoro Local Government to an enviable one  with the execution of impactful projects that spread across the length and breadth of the council area.

" No Chairman has performed better than ESKAY . Obviously, he deserves the second term, it is on this note I want to appeal to our people to play their role in ensuring the return of HON Adesina Sikiru Adisa for the second term because he has kept his electioneering campaign promises"

The monarch, equally appreciated the Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, for his immeasurable support which had in no small measure contributed to the unmatched achievements of Hon Adesina Sikiru Adisa .

On his part in his remarks, Alhaji Sogbamu Ayinde, chairman All Progressives Congress.(APC), commended Hon Adesina Sikiru Adisa for his efforts at making Ewekoro Local Government one of the best among the comity of local governments.

" Our visionary and hardworking Chairman has not disappointed us in anyway, infact, Hon Adesina Sikiru Adisa has lived up to his billings with the  avalanche of projects within three years of his administration as the Executive Chairman "

Alhaji Sogbamu, equally, expressed his gratitude to the Ogun State Governor, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, for his massive support for all the Loca Government Chairmen in the state which had provided them the right platform to deliver in their various local governments.

Contributing, the host monarch, Oba Solaja Oluwafemi A, the Olu of Obada-Oko, who could not hide his joy stated that the commissioning of the laudable project is happening during his life time is a thing of joy for him .

Oba Solaja said Obada-Oko was created 100 years and 6 months at the time of settlement by the then Alake of Egbaland, Oba Gbadebo, Okunkenu 111 on July 3rd , 1918 which accidentally coincided with the same day and month of July 3rd, for the commissioning of the Oba Micheal Aremu Gbadebo shopping complex , Obada-Oko.

The monarch, expressed his delight and appreciation to the Chairman, Hon Adesina Sikiru Adisa on behalf of the people of Obada-Oko for the project which will further boost the socio- economic activities of the people in and around Obada-Oko.

"No doubt about it, our chairman deserves the second term to continue the good deeds and bring more dividends of democracy to the nooks and crannies "

Speaking at the event, Hon Adesina Sikiru Adisa, the Executive Chairman of Ewekoro Local Government, disclosed that naming the shopping complex after the revered Royal father, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr) Micheal Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, CFR, the Alake and Paramount ruler of Egbaland, the Okunkenu IV  was not by chance but rather a testament to the contributions of His Majesty to the socio-economic development and unity being enjoyed among the four sections of Egbaland and His Majesty's roles in the state of affairs of Ogun State and Nigeria in general.

" I want to implore our good people of Obada-Oko to see this project and other government projects as collective properties which must be guarded jealousy for their sustainability, effectiveness and optimal use."

" With all sense of responsibility, this administration has performed to the best of our ability and in comensuration with the available resources at our disposal. We have been able to deliver on our mandate and campaign promises we made to you when we came to seek for your votes. I hope, with your unflinching support once again, we will be able to do more and further bring more dividends of democracy to your doorsteps in our future endeavors, politically," the chairman stated.

Hon Adesina, equally expressed his appreciation to the Ogun State Governor, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, together with the cabinet for his fatherly and leadership roles both in the state affairs and political sphere and by extension to the leaders and other person who has contributed meaningfully to the development of Ewekoro Local Government .

" I will like to specially appreciate my political leaders in the Local Government for giving me the rare privilege to serve in this capacity as the Executive Chairman of this great Local Government," he concluded.

In a related development, a block of 3 Classrooms at United Primary School, Olorunda, Health center at ASA/YOBO WARD , 28 Lock-Up shops, the first phase of the approved 56 Lock-Up shops @ Papalanto, boreholes were commissioned aside those ones commissioned earlier.

The events were attended by top government officials, party stalwarts, royal fathers, captains of industry amongst others.
