The Executive Chairman of Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area in Ogun State, Ambassador Ogunsola Adesina Lanre FCPA has commissioned a motorised borehole project at Mabon Village, Ward 9 area of the council.
Amb. Ogunsola, while performing the commissioning, today Thursday 27th, 2024 stated that the water project would definitely lower the emotional pressure suffered of looking for water within the entire village.
He added that the project was in line with vision of the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun CON, who has strong feeling about the well-being of the people in the State and wants the best for them. He charged the dwellers in the Village to put the facility to effective use and manage it properly.
The Baale of Mabon Village at Kajola Ward 9, Chief Alabi Ademuyiwa Arafajo who was amazed of the surfaced facility in the Village accoladed the Council Chairman, therefore ascribed him as promise keeper that what he did to the Village was parts of the promises made to the residents during his campaigning period; stressed further that before, the Villagers have been scouting for water from the stream which is about 2 kilometers to the village however expressed gratitude to the Executive Chairman of the Council for the ease brought to them, prayed that the Almighty God would uphold him through the tenure
The Council Chairman, Amb. Ogunsola who commissioned the motorised Borehole went to the venue alongside members of the Legislative, Executive Arms as well as All Progressive Congress (APC) party faithful, said his administration has achieved in all areas of human endeavor.
