LAND TUSSLE: AMB. OGUNSOLA REACTS ON LAND GRABBING PROTESTS IN OBAFEMI COMMUNITY

The attention of the government has been drawn to the news circulating on various media, which was published on television station, daily newspapers and different online newspapers on the accusations of land grabbing against Olu of Obafemi, Oba Taofeek Kayode Owolabi who was alleged of taken over 500 hectares of land belonging to 
 Olatunde Village, Olorode village, Adeola village, Akero village, Agbelu village and Sagalu village in Obafemi-Owode Local Government 

Howbeit, the Executive Chairman, Obafemi Owode Local Government, Amb. Adesina 'Lanre Ogunsola FCPA has hereby directed all the stakeholders involved in the aforementioned tussle to stop any further action on the matter, while an investigative committee would be set up to look into the matter urgently and find lasting solution.

"As a peace loving people, that have shown so much respects and cooperation since inception of our administration, I will not tolerate any disharmony, threat to life and properties of our people, also want to emphasize that necessary action to get to the root of the matter shall be adopted and all concerns should step down further action of protests or otherwise," said council boss".

He therefore assured everyone to go about their lawful businesses and live in peace with one another as all security agencies has been directed to maintain adequate security of lives and properties therein.
